Green Hotels and Environmentally Friendly Lodging

I think this is a pretty cool website. You can search for hotels that are making efforts to be environmentally friendly. All the eco-friendly hotels are rated by how green they are. Next time you are planning on staying in a hotel, you should check out this website and support the hotels that are making efforts to be more eco-friendly.
What a great idea to advertise as a green hotel! These hotels do deserve to be recognized. I didn't find any for Duluth MN, but lots popped up for in the cities so that's exciting.

ReplyDeleteWhen I was in Laughlin, NV last week the hotel I stayed at was a "green" hotel. It was really neat! When entering the room you had to insert your room key into a special slot in the wall. The TV, air conditioning, and lights would not work without the key placed in it. It reminded me never to forget my key when I left the room as well.
ReplyDeleteI actually travel quite a bit. I'm going to go to Philadelphia in a few weeks as well as Austin in February. I just did a quick search of both these places and I sadly didn't come up with much. I did find some cool places though that I might want to visit some other time. Something to think about I guess!
